For the first time in Velindre’s history, we’ve secured official charity places for the TCS London Marathon! This year we have 4 spaces to offer our amazing supporters to be a part of the charity’s history and take part in one of the world’s most prestigious races.

93 committed runners have crossed the London Marathon finish line, raising over £104,000 for Velindre!
These funds have had significant impact allowing us to fund a state-of-the-art Cardiff Cancer Research Hub, a vital centre for breakthrough clinical trials and life-saving treatments.

In 2025, this life-changing treatment will be introduced in UK clinics, including Velindre, offering new hope to those facing incurable breast cancer. With the potential to double survival times, FAKTION is transforming the future of care and improving the lives of millions of women worldwide.
Collectively, our 2026 London Marathon runners could raise an incredible £16,000 for Velindre Cancer Charity. These funds help us deliver life-changing care and services to cancer patients and their families.
